A woman that was not her mother that is 20 years his junior. It is easy to understand why Beyoncé would be upset over the situation. Reportedly, executives fear that the rift between Beyoncé and her father could complicate her music career.
Beyoncé was upset last year when the news first broke about the 18 month affair that he had had with Alexsandra Wright. Wright was only 38 years old, while Matthew Knowles was 58 years old. Later, DNA tests confirmed that he was the father of the boy that Wright had given birth to, Nixon Wright. At the time, Matthew Knowles was still married to Beyoncé’s mother, Tina.
Matthew Knowles has been an integral part of Beyoncé’s career and growth as an artist. Currently, he is still employed as her manager, but that could change at any time. He also managed several other stars, and at one time was the manager for everyone in Beyoncé’s former group, Destiny’s Child.
Wright is a Los Angeles branding executive, and reportedly receives $8,200 per month in child support from Knowles. The current agreement is only temporary, and Matthew and Alexsandra are in the middle of negotiating a long-term agreement.
